The Passport Department at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah has welcomed the first flights of Hajj pilgrims arriving from Syria for the 1446 AH Hajj season, during which entry procedures were completed smoothly and efficiently, reflecting the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to facilitating pilgrims’ journeys.
The General Directorate of Passports emphasized that it has mobilized all its resources to facilitate pilgrims’ entry procedures by equipping entry points with the latest technology and deploying multilingual personnel trained to assist pilgrims from around the world, SPA reported.
The directorate reiterated its full readiness to complete entry procedures for pilgrims arriving through the Kingdom’s international airports, land border crossings, and seaports, in cooperation with relevant authorities, to ensure a safe and dignified pilgrimage for all.
